When Deadlifting avoid any shoe with a raised heal. We recommend you wear a flat shoe. The sole of the shoe should be of sturdy construction so you can push off of your heals without your foot moving or rolling from side to side. Additionally this will likely help your balance at the same time reducing the distance you have to pull the bar.
